Yanagisawa A-3 Found
0A kind person from the Netherlands send me photos of what looks to be the first A-3 I have seen. Faily interesting example of an early Yanagisawa with both the Prima and Yanagisawa names on it. According to the tech the person took the horn to the tone was very Selmer like.
More Vintage Ads
0Make that about 150 vintage ads in our Vintage Ad Gallery.
You’ll find a nice selection of ads for clarinets, saxophones, flutes, and even bassoon.
Vintage Ads
0We’ve added a vintage ads gallery. I’ve collected just under 100 cool vintage ads and other pieces of interesting documents pertaining to many of the great old and present names of the saxophone world.
Buescher, Conn, Martin, Brilhart, Selmer, and King along with a host of others.
Vintage Saxophones
0I played some very cool vintage horns over the last couple of weeks including a killer Martin “The Martin” alto. I will add some reviews soon.
Yanagisawa Page Updated
0I’ve further updated the Yanagisawa page with modified dates of production for the 4 and 5 series horns. I have gathered some additional photos for the gallery that I’ll be adding soon.
