Martin Committee II alto

Vertically Adjustable right-hand thumbrest.

Very comfortable (for those old mechanism) left hand thumb rest and octave mechanism.  The octave mechanisms on Martins are normally complex in comparison to Selmers of that era.  But fully functional and pretty nifty once you see how they operate.

Bell engraving was quite extensive. Some people think that the Martin Comm 2 was a Leblanc design.  Martin did engrave their name similarily to Leblanc in a vertical block lettering.  Bt the entire horn was still a Martin with beveled tone holes and all the other Martin identifiers.

Elegant twin wire key guards used throughout the horn.
