Happy to help.
I want to convert some of these to audio or at least download them into my Sansa so I can refer back to them when I'm in the car (and now I won't be watching the video if I'm behind the wheel).

Although the videos are not designed as masterclasses, there are a few with Sidney Bechet - live. Just search for his name. Johnny Hodges, too. Fascinating! DAVE

This reminds me of a thought I had yesterday as I was listening to a recording of Chris Potter giving a masterclass. Jazz is just so academic nowadays. Listening to Lester Young, Johnny Hodges, and Sydney Brechet brings me back to the essence of music.

Wow, thanks Ed. The last time I looked up saxophone educational videos on youtube, I only found very basic, "how to put your mouthpiece on", type videos. These are really cool.

I think this is an area that will continue to expand. I find these sort of conversations to be very beneficial.
