I do flutes too .. but don't let anyone know that then I'd have to admit about knowing what a flute is .. i always thought they were silver plating plumbing for the rich !!

Hobbyist here. I've restored 15-20 vintage horns. I do all the cleaning, most key fitting, swedging, and pad & cork replacement myself. I use my local pro tech for dents, springs, really tricky key work, and a final adjustment.
