Discover MUSE, the new clarinet by Henri SELMER Paris

"Upper Joint fitted together with the crimped metal lower joint" sounds like the upper and lower joints are fused together, but looking at the case, it appears that that is not the "case". Is the process sort of like this:

https://www.probite.com/crimp-fitti...reated,the fitting to make a water tight seal.

The resin liner is applied to the top joint. I would think that expansion of the wood against the resin in humid areas would cause expansion of the wood against the resin causing cracks, I would assume that they tested this.

$5,490.00 would signal that this horn is not aimed at the student market, but with inflation returning, who knows :)?
