Ok to post recordings here? original tunes, riffage on bass and contrabass clarinets

Noice! Would have been fun if you went to Bb soprano then sopranino on "Coffee."
Thanks! I've got no pretenses of greatness, my technique and chops are mediocre at best, but I can still have fun riffing! I improvised these melodies, but to be honest, they kinda stick in my head. lol

I've only played an Eb for a couple hours. I know a couple folks with Ab sopraninos, but I've never played one.

On that topic, I decided to do a quick Intrawebs search for Ab clarinets. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-flat_clarinet says that three companies still make them: Orsi (they will make any instrument provided you can afford it), Ripamonti (now Ripa), and Seggelke Klarinetten. The Orsi isn't priced in their catalog, the Ripa is 4800 Euro, and the base Seggelke is 3750 Euro.

I did notice several inexpensive sopranino clarinets on ebay just now, really cheap actually, so much so that I'm suspicious, but may try anyway...

Well we will see, I just ordered a cheap one off ebay. Just over $200. Not expecting much. LOL Will update here with a review when it arrives.

And thanks to the mods for moving this to the right spot - I looked around, but didn't find this corner, now I know! :) :emoji_thumbsup:
