Embouchure help

I don't really know how to use this website because I just made an account, but I need my question answered. I have a very set and tight embouchure on my clarinet, and it is my main focus instrument. I recently decided to pick up the French horn. Will picking up a brass instrument ruin or harm my clarinet embouchure in any way?

As long as you don't try to buzz your lips into the clarinet mouthpiece you should be fine. :) Seriously, there is surprisingly a lot of transfer between the clarinet embouchure and the french horn embouchure in terms of the flat chin and the firm corners of the mouth. You should have no problems going back and forth.

I was a clarinet and sax player. Oddly, the only brasswind I was ever able to make a sound out of is the French horn. However, if someone gave me an ophicleide, I'd probably try harder to play it :).
